Lowell Foods Pickled Mushrooms
Marinated mushrooms can be eaten as an appetizer or a snack. They are often consumed in the Eastern European culture alongside alcoholic beverages. Finely chopped marinated mushrooms are also a component of traditional tatar. In the English cuisine, they were added to stews consisting of meat, fowl, fish, and eggs, and in the Polish cuisine to venison, pork, beef, poultry, and roasts of various kind. Lowell Marinated Mushrooms are made using simply mushrooms, carrots, onions, water with vinegar, and various spices such as mustard seeds, pepper, allspice, bay leaf, salt and sugar.
